Ever wonder how you’d fare in the D&D Realm? Well, wonder no more.
With this quick and easy quiz, you can determine just how good your adventuring
skills really are. All you need is a #2 pencil, a few spare minutes, a
standard-sized blue book, and one of those annoying little green scantron
forms.
Time allowed: 20 minutes Mark only one answer per question.
- When Dungeon Master gives you advice in the form of a riddle, you should:
- A) thank him for the advice, then ignore it.
- B) ask him what the heck he’s talking about.
- C) always remember to answer in the form of a question.
- Tiamat’s favorite combat tactic is to:
- A) use all of her breath weapons at once.
- B) crush her opponents.

at once.

- C) use it as a paper weight.
- If you were one of the six kids trapped in the realm, you should worry
most about:
- A) how to defeat Venger.
- B) how to avoid being eaten by Tiamat.
- C) how to explain to your parents where you were once you get home.
- The thing that is most surprising about Venger is that:
- A) he wears a dress.

- If you were one of the six kids, your first warning that something
was wrong should have been:

- C) when you saw that the Dungeons and Dragons roller coaster didn’t
have a line.

- If you had Presto’s hat, the best course of action would be to:
- A) see what’s inside.
- B) figure out how to conjure up a gate home.
- C) ask Dungeon Master for a refund.
- The best excuse for not killing Venger in the Graveyard of Dragons
is that:
- A) then you’d be just as bad as Venger.
- B) you’re not the violent type.
- C) you couldn’t bear the thought of all those unemployed orcs.
Bonus Essay Question - In 5000 words or less, explain what you would
do differently than the six kids in order to get home. Remember to address
the Venger/Dungeon Master conflict and keep in mind the importance of Tiamat
when forming your answer.
In order to score this quiz, give yourself 2 points for every time you
answered "A". Give yourself 1 point for every time you answered
"B". Finally, give yourself -3 points for every time you answered
"C". The bonus essay question is subjective, and therefore has
no right or wrong answer, so it’s basically worthless. Next, add up your
score. The resulting number is your adventuring aptitude. Now, if you are
actually still keeping score at this point, you’re taking this topic much
too seriously... *grin*
